15 Ratanga School students grilled over dormitory fire

15 students from Ratanga Boys Secondary School are being interrogated at Ndhiwa Police Station over suspected arson.

The students from Form Three and Form Four classes are being questioned after a dormitory at their school was set ablaze.

According to Central Kwabwai Location Chief Patrick Lumumba, eight of them admitted to having torching the dormitory.

The incident occurred while students were watching the World Cup finals on Sunday.

Lumumba further added that the Ratanga Secondary School students claimed that they raised Ksh.90 to buy petrol from a nearby trading center.
