152 Colonial-era bombs found in a hardware in Nanyuki
Police on Saturday recovered 152 Colonial-era bombs at a hardware shop in Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
According to Laikipia County Commander Simon Kipkeu ,the bombs are used for training purposes and the owner has had them at the shop since 2010.
The bombs according to the shop owner were being handled as scrap metal and were yet to be bought.
Kipkeu has now appealed to the public to report anything they come across as suspicious be it an activity or individual.
Police have sealed off the site and investigations are underway.
