19-year-old man killed by girlfriend in Bomet

A 19-year-old man was on Sunday allegedly stabbed on the neck and killed by his girlfriend in Kapkwen trading center, Bomet County.

Confirming the incident, Bomet Central Police boss Geoffrey Walumbe  said the two lovers quarreled before the woman, 19, picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the man.

Neighbours who spoke to Citizen Digital added that the two fought over some money the man had allegedly earned from his manual labour work.

The deceased succumbed while being rushed to Longisa County Referral Hospital.

The suspect has since surrendered herself to the police and the murder weapon has also been retrieved.
