2 Children Mauled To Death By Hyena

Five other adults were seriously injured in the attack that occured in Diriib-Gombo area

The adults were trying to rescue the children from the beast when they were injured.

The hyena is said to have dragged one of the bodies away.

The body was later recovered in the bushes.

The injured are currently being treated at the Marsabit District Hospital.

The attack comes barely two years after a man was viciously attacked by a hyena in the same county.

The man however survived the attack with severe facial injuries.

He was later airlifted by Flying Doctors Service and taken to Nairobi for further treatment.
