2 dead, three injured in accident on Nairobi-Mombasa highway

Two people were killed and another three injured after two lorries collided head-on at Kapiti area on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

According to police, the three survivors were taken to Machakos Level Five Hospital.

Athi River Sub County Commissioner David Juma identified the three as loaders.

He said the wreckage of the lorries have been towed to Kyumbi Police Post.

Kapiti is a few kilometres from the Machakos turn off.
