2 People Die In Huruma Building Collapse

Among the two was a one day old baby.

40 others have been rescued and 26 admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital and Guru-Nanak Hospital.

12 people have already been treated and discharged.

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero who visited the scene said the collapsed building was illegally and poorly constructed adding that the owner and contractor will be arrested and prosecuted.

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) now wants all construction professionals involved in collapsed buildings arraigned in court.
