2014 KCSE Results Ready For Release

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi is expected to release the exams.

The candidates will be able to check their results through the mobile service through the short code 22252 after the results have been released.

In a statement to newsrooms, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Chief Executive Dr. Joseph Kivilu has said those whose results will be withheld will be notified through their headteachers.

A total of 487,800 candidates sat for the 2014 KCSE examinations.

Examination result slips will be issued to County Directors of Education after the release.

The CEO also advised candidates to thoroughly scrutinise the results for correctness and ensure accuracy of names, index number and gender, school name and code, and individual subject.

“Discrepancies noted on the examination results should be reported within one month from the date of release of the examination results. This includes any appeals for remarking,” said Dr. Kivilu.
