23-year-old man hacked to death by three-man gang in Homa Bay

A 23-year-old man was Sunday morning attacked and hacked to death at Watata village in Homa Bay over unknown reasons.

Ronny Odhiambo Ogallo was ambushed and attacked by three men who were armed with a panga and other crude weapons killing him on the spot while on the way to his farm.

South Kanyabala Sub-location Assistant Isaiah Ouma Okello confirmed that the deceased was hacked several times with a machete on the head and  right hand, bleeding to death.

Okello said they are yet to establish the motive behind the murder, adding that the suspects disappeared immediately after the incident.

The body of the deceased was moved to the Homa Bay county mortuary.
