25yr old man kills wife over alleged infidelity

Police in Kakamega County are holding a 25 year old man for allegedly killing his wife before dumping her body at river Sasala following a domestic brawl.

The accused, 25-year-old Alex Kenyatta, is believed to have murdered his 38-year-old wife over an alleged love affair with a businessman in the area.

According to the suspect’s father, Conrad Kenyatta, an argument ensued after his son found ‘suggestive messages’ from the businessman in the deceased phone.

Confirming the incident, area police commandant Dennis Lukorito said that upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have had a disagreement with his wife saying that he only killed her out of anger.

Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
