26 killed, several injured after head-on crash in Kibwezi

At least 26 people were killed and scores injured when a Mombasa-bound bus collided head-on with a tanker along Nairobi-Mombasa highway Tuesday morning.

Confirming the incident, Kibwezi police boss Leonard Kimaiyo said the crash occurred at Kambu area.

The injured have been rushed to hospitals in Kibwezi and Makindu for treatment.
