3 People Die In Kikopey Road Accident

The accident reportedly involved a P.S.V matatu and a lorry.

The injured have been taken to Gilgil hospital for treatment.

Investigations have been launched to find out the cause of the accident.

Elsewhere, 11 people are receiving treatment at the Webuye District Hospital following a road accident at Chebwai area along the Kakamega-Webuye road.

Malava police boss Justus Kitetu confirmed the accident saying the bus which was heading to Webuye from Kakamega rolled a number of times.

Kitetu said the driver lost control of the bus while trying to overtake a trailer.

He urged drivers to be more careful this festive season to avoid road accidents and death of passengers.
