5 people killed in grisly car accident at Londiani

Five people were killed while several others sustained injuries after a road accident at Londiani junction on the Kericho-Nakuru highway.

Kericho County police commander Silas Gichunge confirmed that the accident occurred after the driver of a trailer lost control and rammed two Nissan matatus.

He said the the driver lost control of the vehicle due to brake failure.

The police boss said both drivers of the Nissan and a conductor died on the spot.

Those who were injured were rushed to various hospitals in Kericho town.
