Three suspected gangsters were gunned down at High Point Juja by police from the Special Crime Prevention Unit.

The two men and one woman had been pursued by the detectives after they shot a motorist.

According to Juja OCPD Patrick Manyasi, the thugs realized they were being followed and made a U-turn at Juja Bridge.

Manyasi said the suspects are believed to have been involved in a series of robberies.

About 500 meters from Juja Police Station, officers waylaid them and ordered them to stop the Toyota Belta vehicle but they opened fire instead.

The three suspects were shot dead while one escaped with injuries. A pistol and an improvised gun were recovered from the scene.
