3-year-old girl defiled by 30-year-old man in Nyamira

A three year-old girl has been defiled by a 30 year-old man in Nyamira County.

The victim’s mother was selling goods on the roadside when the abuse occurred. She says that her child, who was playing nearby, followed the assailant into his house as he was coming back from work.

The 30-year-old man, who is a tout, offered the child milk and then committed the beastly act.

The distraught mother explained that she found her child crying and when she probed her, she discovered what had been done to the toddler.

It is then that she raised alarm, informing neighbors of what had happened. Infuriated residents descended on the suspect nearly killing him.

Nyamira OCPD Rico Ngare confirmed the incident and said that the child has been taken to Nyamira Level-5 hospital for treatment while the suspect is being held at Nyamira Police Station waiting to be arraigned in court on Monday.
