4 Mosques Closed In Mombasa

Mombasa county commander Robert Kitur has confirmed 16 people were arrested on Thursday night after they attempted to forcefully gain entry,into Swafaa Mosque in Kisauni.
Kitur says Musa, Swafaa, Mina and Sakina Mosques, will remain closed and has advised Muslim faithful to look for alternative places for their Friday prayers.
The county commander confirmed that no weapons were recovered and no fatalities were reported during Thursday night’s operation.
