4 Year Old Raped, Killed in Narok County

The body of the child was found dumped in a nearby thicket by a passerby.

The girl was taken from her bed Wednesday night by unknown people who raped her before burning her to death

The child was asleep in their home where her mother and siblings were sleeping

Jenifer Malele, the mother of the girl said she only realized her child was missing when she woke up in the morning.

“I did not hear my daughter leave at night. I didn’t hear anything at night, in fact, I usually wake up to breastfeed my little baby, but yesterday night I did not because I was asleep,” said Malele.

Malele said she found the door of her house open when she woke up and wondered what happened last night.

After searching for her daughter with the help of her neighbour, Gladys Nasenya opted to seek assistance from the police.

“We decided to go to the police and report the matter, but while on our way, I received a call informing that the girl had been found dead and dumped in a bush” said Nasenya.

The shocked villagers called on the police to investigate the matter and take action against the culprits.
