4,000 NACADA Licences Stolen
While issuing the alert, NACADA chairman John Mututho said that some unscrupulous traders were illegally selling NACADA Licenses to bar owners and brewers across the country.
Mututho has now warned traders using the missing licenses that they risk prosecution if found with the documents.
This comes after the government cancelled all licences of the manufacturers, distributors and sellers of second generation brews in May 2014.
The government further gave those wishing to continue with the business 48 hours to re-apply.
NACADA Chairman said that this was in a bid to help in the fight against illicit brews.
The government took this step after over 94 people died in May 2014 after consumption of adulterated spirits.
