41-year-old woman, 44 children aged between 14-17 arrested at house party in Nairobi
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a 41-year-old woman Millicent Kithinji who on Saturday night hosted school kids at her house in Mountain View Estate, Nairobi.
The 44 kids who included 26 boys and 18 girls are aged between 14 and 17 years and are all in primary and secondary schools.
In a statement after the arrests, DCI detectives said various alcohol brands – whisky and vodka – and bhang were recovered.
Detectives last night arrested 44 school children and their host, and seized various brands of alcohol and bhang in a house at Nairobi’s Mountain View Estate.
The children – 26 boys and 18 girls – are aged between 14 and 17 years. All are in primary and high schools.

Several parents of the kids were notified about the incident on Sunday as detectives sought to find out how the kids drawn from Machakos and Nairobi counties traveled without detection.
Detectives are also toiling to uncover the motive of the Saturday night gathering, how it was planned and how the children arrived there.
