5 Injured, Property Destroyed In Community Clashes

One of the injured has been transferred to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for specialized treatment.

Area leaders led by Trans-Mara District Commissioner Abdi-Hakim Jubai and area MCAs on Monday held a security meeting to look into the matter.

The leaders urged communities along the border area to uphold peace.

The leaders asked the police to conduct thorough investigations into the cattle rustling allegations.
