60-year-old charged with defiling 12-year-old in Mombasa

A 60-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in King’orani area, Mombasa County.

Hadi Said is accused of having defiled and groped the minor who is also an orphan on December 18, 2018.

Appearing before Residence Magistrate Martin Rabera on Friday, December 21, Said denied the charges.

He was granted a Ksh.200,000 bond with surety of a similar amount. The case is set to be heard on January 8, 2019.

The victim was taken to the Coast General Hospital for treatment.
