7 MPs Defend CS Waiguru Against Allegations

Embattled Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru could escape the axe after all. There are behind the scenes maneuvers to persuade some of the mps who have signed the motion for her removal to withdraw their signatures.  Some like Kiambu town lawmaker Jude Njomo beat a hasty retreat and joined a group of seven MPs from the president's party TNA, at a news conference to disown the motion.
