Over 70 youth were on Sunday arrested with fake letters at the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Recruits Training School in Eldoret.

According to KDF spokesperson Colonel Paul Njuguna, the youth from various parts of the country were nabbed during a crackdown on fake documentation used by youth to join the training school.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Col. Njuguna said the suspects will be presented in court on Monday to face charges.

In 2018, over 100 youth were also arrested with fake letters while trying to join the KDF training.
