8 Eritrean nationals arrested hiding in a culvert in Moyale

Eight Eritrean nationals were on Tuesday night arrested hiding in a culvert at Qalaliwe area in Moyale, Marsabit County.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the eight were apprehended by police on night patrol and did not have documents legalizing them to be in the country.

The DCI further added that the suspects are aged between 18 and 23 years.

They were identified as Fiori Abraham, Awet Gebrakustos, Yordanos Dawit, Hawariat Hajilat, Abrehet Yacob, Kbrab Habte, Daiynom Gebremeskel and Frezgi Teklit.

The eight are expected top be arraigned in court.
