9 people dead in Mai Mahiu accident

Nine people have died after a shuttle heading to Nairobi from Kisii went up in flames after colliding with a truck at Mai-Mahiu on Friday night.

Reports indicate that the truck had stalled when the shuttle hit it at 11PM.

The driver of the shuttle ran away after the accident.

4 of the injured were taken to Kijabe hospital.
