A Suspected Avocado Thief Charged In Thika

The suspect has however denied the charges levelled against him.

Patrick Kuria Mwangi denied the charges before Thika resident Magistrate C. Muchoki.

Mwangi is alleged to have stolen 4 bags of avocado fruits belonging to Zipporah Wambui Karanja on September 25th at Ngere Village in Gatanga.

The accused person is being remanded at the Thika GK prison after he failed to raise Ksh a bond of ksh 30,000 with a surety of a similar amount.

The case being prosecuted by Chief Inspector Shadrack Mbila is slated for a hearing on November 20th.
