A woman in Kericho kills her husband and surrenders to police

Shock and grief has gripped residents of Kapsurer village in Belgut Constituency with neighbours coming to terms with the untimely death of one of their own Bernard Bor who was allegedly murdered by his wife Beatrice Bor on Thursday night

Residents say the couple have of late been engaged in fights forcing the woman to flee for sometime before returning home a week ago

“Infact the last one month huyu mama alikuwa ameenda huko nyagacho na vile alirudi wamekuwa wakizozana na jana ndio tuliskia huyo jamaa ameuawa na ni kwa ajili ya familia issues na tunasema pole na uchunguzi uendelee kufanyika alafu huyu Bernard apate haki yake na familia kwa jumla,” Robert Ngetich, a neighbour says.

The area chief Weldon Mutai confirmed the incident, saying that he had been informed that one man had died inside his house.

DCI detectives from Kericho who camped at the home retrieved items that will be used as evidence in the case.

Ms Bor is currently being held at Kericho Police Station before her arraignment, while the body of the late Bernard Bor has been moved to Kericho Referral Hospital morgue ahead of a postmortem exercise

The deceased is survived by his wife and their five children.
