Ababu Namwamba’s Pac Fiasco

The fate of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and its Chairman Ababu Namwamba seems sealed even before a probe ordered by Speaker Justin Muturi kicks off . Multiple sources within the Powers and Privilleges Committe disclosed that the watchdog is likely to be disbanded following bribery allegations and wrangles pitting Namwamba against a majority of the PAC members. And as francis gachuri reports, Namwamba’s decision to secretly record a conversation between him, Opposition Chief Raila Odinga and two ODM lawmakers could have compounded his woes.
