Accident claims three at Esageri, Koibatek

Three people among them a student are feared dead following an accident involving a KDF armoured personnel carrier and PSV matatu at Esageri on the Eldama Ravine-Nakuru road.

While confirming the incident, Koibatek OCPD Agnes Kamau said the Kenya Army APC was trying to overtake another matatu heading towards Nakuru when it rammed into the oncoming matatu.

One person died on the spot while two others succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.

Injured victims were rushed to Eldama Ravine Mercy Mission Hospital and Eldama Ravine Nursing Home.

The bodies of the deceased have been  taken too Eldama Ravine Sub-County Hospital mortuary.
