Ahadi: Insecurity Hampering Anti Jigger Campaigns

Kamau has said that many donors and well wishers have decided to keep off Kenya fearing terrorist attacks.

The recent insecurity incidences in the country continues to impact negatively on some key areas.

The Ahadi Kenya team has had to cancel a planned trip to Mombasa after donors expressed their fears of coming into the country over insecurity.

Kamau has urged politicians to desist from hate speech and incitement.

Kamau was speaking in Gatanga, Muranga County during a jigger treatment camp where he was accompanied by former Miss Kenya Cecilia Mwangi and prominent singers.

Meanwhile in Mombasa County, the Rotary club Bahari branch has started a special campaign to offer free jigger treatment to over 150 pupils from slum areas in Kisauni who are said to be among those greatly affected as most of them lack toilet facilities.

The county government has been urged to continue helping the residents to deal with the problem.
