The Director of Criminal Investigations, Ndegwa Muhoro, has hit back at city lawyer, Ahmednassir Abdullahi, following his claims that the DCI boss wants to kill him over the Tatu City land saga terming the claims ‘malicious and reckless’.

“My office does not run any death squad as insinuated by Ahmednassir,” read Mr Muhoro’s statement in part.

“The only logical conclusion that can be deduced is that Ahmednassir is a man living in a fear for the myriad of atrocities he has committed against vulnerable persons of this country.”

In a statement to newsrooms, Muhoro now claims the controversial lawyer is using the allegations to divert attention from the questionable activities surrounding his career including claims of forging his pupilage to be admitted as an advocate.

Muhoro further indicated that he will sue the lawyer and a section of media houses over the assassination claims made by Ahmednassir.

Ahmednassir had earlier alleged that Muhoro was bribed to drop investigating former CBK Governor, Nahashon Nyaga, who is accused of grabbing part of Tatu City land.
