AMSHA MAMA: Take a selfie to support African Women

Would you like to take part in an initiative aimed at helping disadvantaged African women? You don’t have to do much –just take a selfie holding an Amsha Mama poster and post n online.

A picture speaks one thousand words, and that single selfie will help raise awareness of Africa Women and Beyond’s (AWAB) initiative to empower millions of African women.

So got to AWAB’s website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page and download the poster. Print it out and take a selfie holding up the poster and post it online using the hashtag #AmshaMama. The posters are country specific – so make sure you download the correct one.

Get your friends to join in too so that AWAB can help the less privileged African woman.

#AmshaMama will be held in Naivasha, Kenya – not far from Nairobi. The three-day program will take place in tented grounds providing space and opportunity for presentations for 200 and 2000 people at a time.

Each country represented will have a tent: “Welcome to My Home” providing space for workshops, networking and showcasing of products in a homely atmosphere.

AWAB is creating the opportunity for the participating women to live and breathe in the vibrant entrepreneurial community for the duration of the event.
