Angry passengers beat up matatu driver, conductor for reckless driving VIDEO
A video has emerged on social media showing agitated passengers chasing down and beating up matatu operators for alleged reckless driving.
The matatu, belonging to Lina Sacco (registration: KCL 740B), was reportedly headed to Nairobi from Limuru when the incident occurred.
The passengers are said to have been angered by the driver and his colleague’s behavior on the road and obvious disregard for their lives.
One of the passengers, in the slightly over one-minute undated video, at one point even poses: “Tumemkataza kukimbia, anataka kutuua kwa nini?”
(Loosely translated to: “We have tried to dissuade him (driver) from speeding, why does he want to kill us?)
