Another Anglo Leasing Company Demands Ksh 3.5 Billion

Just after the government paid 1.4 billion shillings to two firms owned by tycoon Anura Pererra, Parliament's Public Accounts Committee today, Thursday, learnt that another company owned by the same tycoon is demanding 3.05 billion shillings from the government for yet another Anglo Leasing type contract that was cancelled. Treasury Principal Secretary Dr. Kamau Thugge fears that should the company file a suit against Kenya and succeed, then Kenya's economy will again be at risk.
