Three bodies are still missing since the boat capsized on Saturday afternoon.

The body has been taken to Port Victoria Sub District Hospital Mortuary.

The tragedy occured after a boat ferrying passengers capsized in the river leading to the death of the passengers.

Plans to construct a bridge across River Nzoia in Budalang’i Sub-County to avoid such tragedies are underway

The pledge to construct the bridge has been given by Busia County Governor Sospeter Ojaamong.
