Anti-graft boss post re-advertised after applicants fail test

The Public Service Commission will next week re-advertise the position of Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) chairperson that fell vacant following the controversial resignation of Philip Kinisu.

In a statement, PSC chair, Prof Margaret Kobia, has invited fresh applications for the post after 68 people who applied for the same failed to meet the set requirements to proceed to interviews.

The EACC chair post was declared vacant and advertised on 7th September and closed on 28th September before the applications were scrutinized.

Kobia had advised those who had applied before and failed to meet the cut not to re-apply when the position is re-advertised next week.
