Armed thugs caught on CCTV robbing a man in Kilimani arrested

Four suspects connected with a daring daylight robbery incident along Lenana Road have been arrested by DCI detectives based in Kilimani.

The suspects are; 27-year-old Timothy Jahan Muzami alias ‘Timo’ captured on camera hitting the victim with a firearm on the forehead, Humphrey Minyata alias “Daddy” aged 23 years captured on camera pointing the victim with a sharp knife, Mary Wambui aged 23 years old who was harboring the suspects in Pangani and Ali Musa alias ‘Ally’ aged 26 years old who was arrested during the operation and believed to be an associate of the gang.

The four, accordng to the DCI, were arrested at their hideouts in Kawangware, Gatina and Pangani.

Detectives recovered among other things, a pocket knife, a jacket that one of the suspects had worn during the robbery and a pair of camouflage sneakers.

Also recovered was a smartphone believed to have been stolen from the suspect and a MacBook laptop.

The early morning robbery showed the thugs approach a pedestrian who was carrying a backpack.

One of the thugs was wielding a knife which he pointed at the victim before his accomplice clocked the victim on the head with the butt of a pistol.

They then frisked him, took his mobile phone and his backpack before disappearing into an alleyway.

The video went viral on social media with Kenyans calling the DCI to expedite investigations and bring the thugs to book.
