Arrest and question Moses Kuria over Msando’s death, MP Wandayi demands

Ugunja MP James Opiyo Wandayi now wants his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria arrested and interrogated over the killing of IEBC’s ICT manager Chris Msando last weekend.

Wandayi who claims that Mr. Kuria seem to have been acting with a group of some unknown people, has given the police 48 hours to arrest the MP and compel him to write a statement on what he knows about the death of the late Msando.

He argues that Mr. Kuria should be arrested and charged with a variety of offenses including interference with the scene of crime and issuance of misleading information regarding the disappearance and eventual death of the ICT manager, failure to which leaders from Siaya County will seek legal redress.

The MP made the remarks during his campaigns in his Ugunja Constituency where he asked the government to engage international investigative agencies in establishing the killers of Mr. Msando and the motive behind his killing.

Wandayi, who says that they have no confidence in the police investigations, stated that there is need for involvement FBI and the Scotland Yard detectives.

Similar sentiments have been echoed by Ugenya MP David Ochieng who asked the government to take that matter very seriously, noting that Kenyans should know Mr. Msando’s killers if the government really cares for its people.

“He died from strangulation and had incisions on his right arm but the rest of his body was intact,” said government pathologist Johansen Oduor on Wednesday.
