Attackers chop and steal man’s genitals in Migori

A 31-year-old man is fighting for his life at the Kisii Teaching & Referral Hospital after his genitals were chopped off by unknown assailants who attacked him at Mukuro village in Suna East, Migori County.

Confirming the incident, area chief Josephat Okinyi said the victim — Felix Otieno — was attacked while leaving an entertainment joint on Saturday, April 13.

According to the chief, the victim was in the company of a friend who managed to escape when the attackers ambushed them.

The attackers are said to have stabbed him several times before chopping off his private parts, which they carried away.

The area chief said investigations are underway to nab the attackers as well as establish the motive of the attack.

The victim, who sustained several injuries, was first taken to Migori Level Four Hospital but was later referred to the Kisii hospital.
