Atwoli gives the nod to Tom Mboya Labour College board in Kisumu

The Central Organisation of Trade Unions has recognised the board membership of Tom Mboya Labour College in Kisumu.

COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli said the recognition was necessary following the entry of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) into trade union.

“Composition of the new board will help steer the college to greater heights by developing new strategies to boost trade relation courses,” Atwoli said.

Speaking in Kisumu, Atwoli said KNUT has forwarded names of its two top officials and will be represented in the college Board by it’s national chairman Wycliffe Mucheyi and national treasurer John Matiang’i.

Atwoli also announced that the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET)  will be represented in the board by HOmboko Milemba who is the national chairman.
