Authorities burn Ksh.2M bhang haul at Kerugoya stadium
Central region security team led by central Region Commissioner Wilfred Nyagwanga have destroyed a bhang haul with an estimated street value of Ksh.2M.
The cannabis stash was previously nabbed by a multi-agency security team on the Ethiopia-Kenya route.
The administrators said they will not relent in the crackdown saying Kirinyaga county has become notorious for bhang trafficking.
At the same time, he warned those engaging in the business, saying their days are numbered.

Kerugoya Chief Magistrate Alex Ithuku said the decision to destroy the drugs was to send a message to traffickers.
Ithuku said that they will continue to work hand in hand with the provincial administration to make sure all culprits face the law.
