Baba hajachoka, Raila Odinga hints at 2022 presidential stab

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga on Sunday hinted at a possible stab at the country’s top seat in the 2022 General Elections.

Mr. Odinga, who spoke during a rally in Mombasa flanked by Governor Ali Hassan Joho, intimated that he is ready for the battle.

The former premier also threw an albeit subtle jab at Deputy President William Ruto accusing him of using church donations to mask his true intentions.

The ODM party chief urged Kenyans not to be fooled by hand-outs saying that would be tantamount to walking themselves to slaughter.

Mr. Odinga on Saturday drummed up support for the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) in the Coast region saying it would increase the national cake which he said has since become too small.

He condemned the clash over the revenue allocation formula at the Senate saying the slightly over Ksh.316 billion that is meant to be distributed among counties is a mere drop in the ocean of the national budget
