Babu Owino charged with attempted murder

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino was on Monday arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts for shooting and injuring a DJ.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi, Babu Owino was charged with attempted murder. He pleaded not guilty.
The controversial lawmaker shot and wounded Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve at B-Club in Nairobi on Friday.
He was detained at Kilimani Police Station before being transferred to Gigiri Police Station.
The court will rule on his bail application on January 27.
