Babu Owino issues ultimatum to Banks

Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino has come out with a fresh ultimatum to Kenyan banks interested in banking his constituency’s funds or doing any business with his office.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the flashy MP demanded that the banks should first provide employment to at least ten Embakasi East constituents.

“For me to open Embakasi East CDF account with any bank in Kenya or proceed with the existing account, the bank must provide employment to at least 10 residents of Embakasi East. If the above condition is not met the bank should forget business from us. DO ME I DO YOU,” read the post.

In another Instagram post on Saturday, Babu Owino revealed he had already received responses from banks willing to give employment to his constituents and asked his constituents to send him their curriculum vitaes.

“The following banks contacted me today and have agreed to employ residents of Embakasi East. Co-op Bank, CBA, KCB and Equity Bank. Embakasi East residents love you.Need cvs,” read the post.
