Baringo MCAs File Governor Impeachment Notice

Over 22 members of the county assembly have signed the notice of motion, to support the ouster of Governor Benjamin Cheboi.

Speaking to the media, county assembly majority leader Elijah Toroitich says Cheboi has failed to release car loans for the MCAs and they are forced to walk or ride on motorcycles to work daily.

On his part, minority leader Wesley Leka-Kimon has faulted how Baringo County has been spending funds, leading millions of shillings being returned to treasury.

The impeachment notice was introduced by Thomas Minito from Amaya-Churo ward.
