Baringo Woman Rep Gladwell Tungo’s husband succumbs to COVID-19

Baringo County Woman Representative Gladwell Tungo’s husband Isaac Cherogony has succumbed to COVID-19 at a hospital in Eldoret, the family has said.

Mr. Cherogony, according to reports reaching Citizen Digital, passed on Saturday evening at the facility where he was rushed after developing breathing complications.

The Baringo Woman Representative has since also been tested for the novel coronavirus and is expected to receive her results this week.

Meanwhile, the home of the deceased is said to have been cordoned off as contact tracing continues.
