Be brave and face me in 2022 Ruto to Raila

The Deputy President William Ruto has dared Raila Odinga and his Opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) team to face him come 2022.

Speaking at Changamwe, Ruto warned NASA leaders against playing blame games on the newly acting Interior Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, on allegations that he is strategizing ways to rig the August 8 polls.

The DP instead called NASA into an open challenge come 2022 where he will be contesting for the presidency.

He asked the opposition to come clean on whether it is prepared for this year’s elections or not.

“If they are not ready for this year’s election they can have theirs in 2022 where they will meet me,” DP said.

“NASA leaders should keep off Matiang’i. They should tell Kenyans whether they are ready for elections on August 8 or not.”

He reinforced that the CS interior was obligated with the duty to protect the state as well as the citizens.

Ruto, however, advised the opposition to stick on vote hunting agenda.
