Bhang worth Ksh.5.6 million nabbed in Nairobi’s Kisumu Ndogo area
Police on Monday night nabbed over 267 kilograms of bhang estimated to be worth a street value of Ksh.5.6 million at Kisumu Ndogo area in Nairobi.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the 2,732 loose rolls of bhang were fully packed in a Toyota Probox Reg. No KBW 512C.
“Upon being cornered, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot but is being pursued,” said the DCI on Tuesday evening.
The bhang has since been handed over to the Anti-Nacortics Unit for safe custody and the vehicle detained by Starehe DCI detectives.
Meanwhile, the owner of the vehicle, who was identified as Polycarp Otieno Aduda on NTSA records, is being sought by police.
