Bodaboda rider dies in Machakos

A bodaboda rider died and two others injured after a head on collision with a vehicle in Machakos.

The rider is said to have died on the spot while his two passengers were critically injured and rushed to hospital.

The accident occurred along river Kaiti, in Machakos.

Makueni OCPD, Bosita Omukolokolo said the motorcycle was trying to overtake another vehicle heading to Wote when he collided with the oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the car, said to belong to a former Makueni gubernatorial aspirant, is said to have fled the scene on foot after the accident and police are have launched a search for him.
