Body of murdered ACK priest found along Sagana highway

Panic gripped residents of Kianjege village in Kirinyaga County after Kianjege St. Peter ACK priest, Joseph Kinyua Maina, was found murdered.

According to his family members, the 46-year-old vicar went to Karatina yesterday noon to collect animal feeds sent to him from Nairobi.

They did not hear from him until this morning when he was discovered today along Sagana highway in a pool of blood.

Ndia Deputy OCPD Alexender Murugu has confirmed the incident saying that they suspect he was killed elsewhere and his body dumped there.

Police officers have launched investigations into the incident.
