Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto, MCAs embroiled in budget wars

Members of the National assembly from Bomet County now want Governor Isaac Ruto to approve a Budget Bill passed by the county assembly on Thursday.

The MPs claim Governor Ruto declined to sign the Bill which seeks to give MCAs control over a conditional grant they awarded themselves.

The MCAs are now asking the governor to dialogue with them and arrive at a solution to avert a stalemate.
